ABOUT ME

A Tar Heel, born and bred, seeking work in the Sports Industry

As a three-year-old on the rec center basketball court, I had no idea that a lifelong passion for sports was forming. I was a Tar Heel born and bred, and I practically lived in my Sylvia Hatchell basketball camp t-shirts and Carolina blue Jordan’s. It was no question that attending UNC-Chapel Hill was my dream. High school and club sports continued to shape my goal-oriented personality that would soon turn my dream into a reality. I became a quiet leader that did not need my voice to command the attention of others, my work ethic spoke for itself. As a team captain, I developed a love for communication and used my experience to inspire those around me. After being admitted to Carolina, I took this newfound love and pursued a major in Advertising and Public Relations with a focus in Sports Communication. My passion for sports has only grown so much that a dunk in a basketball game will give me chills, a Nike commercial or an ESPY's speech can bring me to tears and standing in the Dean Dome takes me back to my childhood as a die-hard Tar Heel. I want to play a role in creating those moments for the future generations of avid sports fans like myself through a career in Sports Marketing. With experience in creating marketing campaigns for Old Dominion University Football, the Washington Nationals and the LA28 Olympics I am ready to turn this dream into a reality.
